The capital of the Federal Republic of Germany is Berlin with 3.6 million inhabitants.

Almost every city in Germany, and not just Berlin, boasts either a long history, or outstanding sights, or a rich cultural life, or all at once. In many cities, the historical center (Altstadt – “Old Town”) with its market square (Markt), “gingerbread” medieval houses and the town hall is perfectly preserved. Tourists like to spend their leisure time in local amusement parks. In the south-west of the country, in the town of Rust, federal state of Baden-Wurttemberg, there is the most famous international park in the world – Europa Park. Having visited it, you are simultaneously visiting several countries: England, Holland, Austria, Spain, France, Russia and even the fabulous Viking Country.

The Legoland amusement park, which opened in May 2002 in the town of Gunzburg (Bavaria), is also very popular. Numerous attractions, more than forty, are waiting for children and adults surrounded by a picturesque forest of 140 hectares, as well as numerous shows, interactive contests and theatrical performances.
