Germany is the most populated country in Europe. 82.7 million people live in it – more only in Russia. The country is similar to a patchwork quilt: it consists of 16 federal lands, each of which has its own capital, traditions, and dialect. Recreation and entertainment

Tourists like to spend their leisure time in local amusement parks. In the south-west of the country, in the town of Rust, federal state of Baden-Wurttemberg, there is the most famous international park in the world – Europa Park. Having visited it, you are simultaneously visiting several countries: England, Holland, Austria, Spain, France, Russia and even the fabulous Viking Country.

The Legoland amusement park, which opened in May 2002 in the town of Gunzburg (Bavaria), is also very popular. Numerous attractions, more than forty, are waiting for children and adults surrounded by a picturesque forest of 140 hectares, as well as numerous shows, interactive contests and theatrical performances. By its fame, this park is not inferior to the Hansa Park, which is located at the other end of Germany – not far from Lübeck, in the southeast of Schleswig-Holstein. Continue reading
